there is definitely truth that chicken soup is soothing to the soul, literally. i've been coming home early from work this week because jon's studying hard for his cpa and i don't want to trouble him to send me home.
today, we (more like he, because i was too full) had a quick dinner near my office and headed home with the peak period crowds. only having my lunch at 4ish, i thought i was going to be too full to eat anything for the night - except for a chocolate eclair which i bought because i was craving for something sweet.
even when i got home, my dad offered me some chicken soup which he cooked for dinner and i declined it. but just a while ago, i couldn't curb my greediness and heated up the chicken soup. enjoying a piping hot bowl of chicken soup with potatoes in a cool air-coned room brought such a comfortable warmth (pun intended). it simply does wonders!
now, the only downside about being at home is that i have almost no control about snacking because there is always something to munch on at home.
